About Us

Cryptic-Threads.com is an idea that I came up with while selling products at Flashback Weekend in Chicago with my friend Anthony.  I had already been running a successful silkscreen and embroidery business named, 3^rd Degree Design & Apparel, Inc. for the past 15 years.  I love working with the many clients I have, but at the same time I have never printed or sold stuff for myself.  Running an online retail store and promoting to people I have never met really appeals to me.

Horror movies are what I love… they are scary, gory, funny, cheesy, etc… you name it, they have it. I love it all!  I want to create my own designs and put them out to people.  I have met thousands of people at the conventions and love talking horror…. I also study what people are wearing.  I love a good horror tee, but they are very repetitious.  I want to be different… I always have.

Most of my designs will have a bit of wittiness to them… that’s how I roll every day of my life.  I always want to put a smile on someone’s face… if they are not into it.  Best wishes.
